Wurkshop Launches at The Pedaler

After careful deliberation, we now provide full bike mechanic services out of our Milton Cyclery.  We also offer a Valet Service for those that are too busy to drop off and pick up.

To cater for this service, The Pedaler welcomes Joshua Prete into our family.  Josh has raced extensively across Australia and internationally.   He has also has been working as a mechanic for the past 5 years including many years specifically working with Colnagos.

We offer an extensive range of bike service options and use only Park Tools and Wurkstands within our Service Course.  Give us a call when you next need a service for your bike or yourself.

Shop Launch // Cobra9 Intebuild Team Launch

Thanks to everyone who made the Official Shop Launch a huge success.  Over 100 people enjoyed a balmy afternoon sipping Peroni, eating Pizza and listening to tunes.  The Watt Bike Competition was fiercely contested with Melita and Josh taking out honours and a coffee coupon from Odyssey Project for their endeavours.  

The Elite Cobra9 Intebuild Race Team was also announced with 12 fresh faces looking forward to a huge year of racing.  Thanks to Jac from Wonderbox for the cracking shots.

The Pedaler Recovery Sessions

From the completion of Twilight Racing this Wednesday, The Pedaler will offer a one hour session after work on a Wednesday to help you improve your flexibility and conditioning.

This session will help those wanting to get a more aggressive position on the bike, maintain a better and stronger posture or assist with exercise induced soreness and fatigue.

$20 covers your personal session (free for those with applicable health insurance).

COLNAGO COLOURS EDITION

We have taken possession of our first Colnago V1-r Ltd Colour Edition in store.  These aero race machines from Colnago carry the race pedigree of the V1-r frameset and add the uniqueness of a beautiful paint finish.  The monocoque V1-r is created in collaboration with Ferrari, manufactured in Taiwan then returned to Italy to be painted with typical Italian flare.

This baby blue size 52 sloping V1-r is in store now awaiting a finishing build.  Come in and have a look.  Let us know what you think is appropriate to finish off this masterpiece.

After months of waiting, the first edition of The Pedaler Shop Kit has landed.  Designed in conjunction with Attaquer and Cobra9, the Italian made kit has flashes of Atq styling without any clutter or fuss.  Simply good looking, comfortable high end threads.  

SCOOL BIKES NOW AVAILABLE AT THE PEDALER

We are excited to be Brisbane's dedicated Scool Bike Retailer.   Scool bikes are a German company who manufacture high quality children's bikes.  The range caters for mountain, road, balance and even fat bikes.  

The lightweight, low centre of gravity designs are ideal for kids starting their journey on two wheels.  The more technical offerings are suitable for the child making the transition into MTB and Road disciplines.

POC MIPS LANDS

The latest piece of epic safety kit from POC has arrived in Australia.  The MIPS (motion impact protection system) Octal helmet has all the aesthetics from the top end Octal with the beautiful white on white finish.  The MIPS safety concept is new to Australia and incorporates a rotational safety element whereby the inner core of the helmet moves independently under crash conditions.  This reduces the risk of upper spinal cord injuries.  Come in store and check them out.  Beautiful.
