Designed to help experienced and competitive cyclists, as well as cyclists suffering from an injury or disability, bike fits led by a podiatrist can help transform your riding experience. A podiatry bike fit is focused on the lower body, so if you have numb, tingling or hot feet, this bike fit is for you. We take detailed measurements and set up your bike to fit your body, riding style and cycling goals. On top of that, the podiatrists at The Pedaler will make sure the fit we specify is the best possible solution for your injuries and disabilities, to ensure you reach your cycling goals.

The Pedaler’s podiatry bike fits are led by Nathan White, a qualified podiatrist with over 20 years experience in the cycling industry on and off the bike.

Podiatrist Bike Fit Inclusions

The Pedaler’s podiatry bike fits are a specialist service designed to accommodate your needs and progress your cycling performance to the next level. The Pedaler tailors each of its podiatry bike fittings to the individual, allowing our team to deliver the best cycling experience for your body. Our podiatry bike fits are performed by a qualified podiatrist and are claimable under some private health insurance policies. You can speak to your insurance company to find out if you have applicable coverage.

Your podiatry bike fit session will take approximately 2 hours and include if required:

  • A detailed interview that allows our podiatrist to gather more information on your cycling experience and training, as well as any cycling or competitive goals you have for the future

  • A detailed injury history and assessment of any current injuries

  • A detailed musculoskeletal assessment that looks at your flexibility, strength, spinal mobility and cycling specific tests

  • Exercise recommendations based on the musculoskeletal assessment

  • Exercise recommendations that may help with the fit or optimise your adaptation

  • Adjustment of cleats, saddle and bars to the ideal positions

  • Foot measuring and assessment

  • Advice on cycling shoes and saddle choice as required

  • Casting for COBRA9 Cycling Orthotics if prescribed *Additional costs may apply

  • Recommendations for future bike fits to support your cycling progression
